The Nawakamal Mitra Semesta Foundation team was appointed by YAKKUM to compile a series of 4 books on Assistance for Psychosocial Disabilities or People With Mental Disorders. The books published by YAKKUM, funded by CBM-Germany and the Australian Government through The Australian NGO Cooperation Program (ANCP). (May 2021 to May 2022). These books are:

1) Becoming an Empowered and Independent Person with Psychosocial Disabilities, as a guide for people with psychosocial disabilities (ODDP) themselves and their families.

2) Smart to Accompany People With Psychosocial Disabilities, as a guide for families in assisting ODDP on a daily basis.

3) Supporting Psychosocial Disabilities towards Recovery, as assistance for mental health cadres in assisting ODDP in the community.

4) Community-Based Rehabilitation for Psychosocial Disabilities, as assistance for the community and across sectors in pursuing community-based rehabilitation.

Educational flip book for the management of symptoms of mental disorders. Nawakamal Mitra Semesta Foundation compiled a flip book of educational materials, for the program in  Sikka District-East Nusa Tenggara, supported by Missionzarstliche Schwestern-Germany, Jiwa Merdeka, Unika Atajaya-Jakarta, and KKI-NTT. The material distributed during the training in Waigette sub district, Sikka District, October 2022. The content and language of those learning material, have been adjusted carefully to local people mainly for  village cadre in Sikka District-East Nusa Tenggara. The content of  this education material such as: (a) Get to know what mental illness is; (b) Basic mental disorder characteristics; (c) Cause of mental disorder; (d) What is aggressivebes, hallucinations, and withdrawal; (e) How to basic handle of those cases; and (f) Role of family in treatment and recovery process.

This book is available in an Indonesian version with the title "Basic Teaching Materials for Caregiver of People With Mental Illness". Teaching material flip sheet, 27 x 22 cm, 26 pages, color, simple language completed with illustrations. The Mata Hati book was written by a team of staffs of  Nawakamal Mitra Semesta, Yakkum and the Sleman District Health Office. The book content is about awareness, story, and good practices including steps how to develop community based mental health program by local community in the village. This book is like a guide book to implement those program, and would be distributed to stakeholders in all villages in the District of Sleman, Yogyakarta Province. The book done from February to April 2023.
